Pasture Board & Horse Turnout
Grass and all-weather paddocks on rolling, well-drained ground, with turnout matched to each horse. Plus a covered arena when you want to ride.
Turnout at Jaz Creek
Room to move, all year
Horses do better with time outside. Jaz Creek has dozens of grass, woodchip and dirt paddocks in a range of sizes, all with foal-safe fencing. Thanks to good drainage and rolling ground, most stay usable through Sonoma County’s wet months.
Every full-care horse gets daily turnout, and horses that do best outside can live in a paddock with shelter.

Turnout options
Matched to each horse
Some horses relax best on their own; others want a buddy or a herd. We offer individual paddocks, small compatible groups and larger pasture turnout, and we adjust as horses settle in.
Young horses get age-appropriate groups, and mares and foals get separate turnout before joining others.
All-weather
Paddocks that stay usable in winter
Paddocks are managed to prevent mud, with good drainage and all-weather footing. That means steady turnout through the rainy season instead of weeks stuck in stalls.
When you want to ride, the 100′ × 200′ covered arena, 165′ × 270′ outdoor arena and one-mile fitness track are all on the property.

From our boarders
Large turnouts, lots of attention
Boarders tell us their horses love the space. We know every horse, so turnout stays safe and settled.
“I’ve had two horses stay at Jaz Creek. They always loved the large turnouts and attention. My last horse was born there and always loved coming home to Jaz Creek after his adventures. Jeanette and Angel care about each and every horse as if they are their own.”
Do you offer pasture or paddock board?
Yes. Horses that do best outside can live in a paddock with shelter, and full-care horses get daily turnout.
Are the paddocks all-weather?
Most are. Good drainage, rolling ground and all-weather footing keep most paddocks usable year-round, even after heavy rain.
Is turnout individual or in groups?
Both. We offer individual paddocks, small compatible groups and larger pasture turnout, matched to each horse.
What kind of fencing do you use?
Foal-safe fencing in every paddock and pasture, with no wire.
Can pasture-boarded horses use the arenas?
Yes. Boarders can ride in the covered and outdoor arenas and use the round pen and trails.
