Is there ample trailer parking at Jaz Creek?

Yes. Bringing your horses to Jaz Creek via trailer is easy. There are multiple places to park or unload a horse trailer and a loop that makes entering and leaving the facility easy.

How far is Jaz Creek from Marin County?

Jaz Creek is about 15 minutes from Marin County and only 45 minutes from San Francisco and the East Bay. We have riders from all over the bay Area including Sonoma, Marin, and San Francisco.

Does Jaz Creek have indoor and outdoor riding arenas?

Jaz Creek has both a covered riding arena and a large outdoor arena with all weather footing. Both arenas were designed with an eye toward all weather use and high quality footing for hunter/jumpers as well as dressage.

How big is the covered arena at Jaz Creek?

Our covered arena is 30,000 square feet including a 100×200 arena with GGT footing. The arena complex also includes wash racks, crossties, tack rooms, offices and grain rooms. The arena is enclosed on two sides making it rideable even in windy or adverse conditons.

Does Jaz Creek have a Eurociser?

Jaz Creek has a 5 horse equineciser that provides a variety of health benefits and keeps horses in top condition whether they are being actively ridden or not.

What type of arena footing does Jaz Creek have in its arenas?

Our covered arena utilizes a sand and textile mix and was fully overhauled in 2025. Our outdoor arena uses a custom sand blend designed for hunter/jumpers and all season use.

How many stalls does Jaz Creek have?

Jaz Creek offers 40 custom built stalls across our barn and arena complex.

What size are the horse boarding stalls?

We have primarily 12’x12′ stalls but also offer a limited number of 12’x16′ stalls.

Does Jaz Creek have automatic waters in stalls?

All of our stalls have automatic waterers.

Are the paddocks and turnouts all-weather?

Yes! Due to great drainage on the property, rolling hills, and all-weather footing, most of our paddocks are available for year round use, even after heavy rain.

Does Jaz Creek have trails for hacking?

Jaz Creek has over a mile of maintained trails for hacking.

Jaz Creek is partnered with Ijula Equestrian which provides lessons to equestrians of all ages and ability levels on-site. We also have multiple trainers in various disciplines including hunter/jumpers and dressage.

Does Jaz Creek offer beginner riding lessons?

Ijula Equestrian is based at Jaz Creek and provides riding lessons for all ability levels including beginners.

Does Jaz Creek have school horses for lessons?

You don’t need to own a horse to taking riding lessons with Ijula. We have horses on site that are great for riders of varying ability levels (and without the cost and effort of horse ownership).

What is included in full-care horse boarding at Jaz Creek?

Most of our boarders fall in love with facility and end up staying for years. However, depending on availability, we can also sometimes offer boarding and care for short term stays including layovers and sales horses.

We welcome dressage horses and understand how their needs sometimes differ from those of other sport horses.

Jaz Creek has dozens of custom horse jumps as well as light weight standards designed to let you jump courses of varying setups and difficulties.
